The Challenge –
SSL had to propose to the DoD commercial solutions that could be used for military purposes and also a commercial solution for the Australian government.

The solution –
I worked on the proposal for NBNCo on australia, for an end-to-end solution that included ground stations, domestic terminals and 2 spacecraft. Also worked on the architecture of a constellation of satellites that could provide ubiquitous service, analyzing potential performance and orbital spacing through link budgets.

The Result –
SSL was awarded the manufacturing of the 2 spacecraft for NBNCo. The company also was awarded a research contract based on the constellation proposed.
